1. How do I make an appointment?: Simply give us a call and we’ll do our best to fit you in as quickly as possible.
2. What are your hours of operation?: Peter’s Garage is regularly open Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 6:00 PM.
3. Do you do bodywork?: Yes, Peter’s Garage does bodywork. Please call for more information.
4. Do you have used parts?: Peter’s Garage carries a large selection of new and used parts.
5. What kind of oil do you use?: Our shop stocks a variety of oil brands including TOTAL, FUCHS, MOTUL and LIQUIMOLY. Oil is used according to manufacturer’s warranties, for example, anything from mineral oil to fully synthetic oil.
6. When should I get a tune up?: Tune-ups should be performed as recommended by the manufacturer. Many aspects play a factor in the frequency of tune-ups required, so we can help you make an informed decision as to when a tune-up for your vehicle is appropriate.
7. How often should I change my oil?: Generally, mineral-based oils should be changed every 5000 km. Fully synthetic oils should be changed every 10,000 km. Please note that this may vary depending on the type of vehicle.
8. Do you do safety certifications?: Yes, Peter’s Garage performs safety certifications for vehicles.
9. Do you do emissions testing?: At this time, Peter’s Garage does not offer emissions testing for vehicles. However, we would be glad to recommend a good mechanic shop in your area that will offer this service.
10. What kind of cars do you work on?: Peter’s Garage services all import vehicles including gas and diesel, old and new.
11. Do you do electrical repairs?: Peter’s Garage offers full electrical diagnostics and repairs.
12. What kind of equipment & technology do you use?: Peter’s Garage uses all of the most modern equipment available to repair your vehicle.
13. Do you sell parts?: Peter’s Garage stocks and sells a large variety of high quality used and new parts.
14. Do you sell cars?: Peter’s Garage is not a car dealership, therefore we do not sell cars. However, we can suggest where to find the vehicle you may be looking for.
15. What is your hourly rate?: Peter’s Garage offers lower rates than dealerships and comparable shops by charging only $85.00 per hour for labour.
16. Do you ship parts anywhere in Canada?: Peter’s Garage can accommodate shipping of parts anywhere.
17. Do you ship parts to the USA?: Peter’s Garage can accommodate shipping of parts anywhere.
18. Do you ship parts internationally?: Peter’s Garage can accommodate shipping of parts anywhere.
19. What are your shipping rates?: The cost of shipping depends on the item and the destination. Please call for more information.
20. Are all prices in Canadian dollars?: Peter’s Garage is proudly located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, so all of our prices are in Canadian dollars.
